About the keynote speaker
Kathleen
Wilhide is the director for financial compliance applications and business performance management software research at IDC, a worldwide research firm with headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts. Wilhide directs IDC’s research efforts on compliance, focusing specifically on the impact of Sarbanes-Oxley on CFOs and the requirements for solutions addressing financial compliance. She has published a series of studies for IDC on this subject.
Wilhide also directs research for analytic applications for business performance management and participates on teams related to general financial software applications research. She has spent the past 18 months consulting with various software solution providers on next-generation performance management applications, particularly on software solutions supporting financial compliance. A CPA, Wilhide has related experience as a controller and financial reporting specialist.
Before joining IDC, Wilhide worked more than 15 years in a variety of management positions at SAP America, where she specialized in financial, business intelligence, and analytical applications. There she developed expertise in enterprise applications and helped launch SAP’s strategic enterprise management solution.
