Optional Events
We are pleased to offer conference attendees the following optional events and recreational activities. Transportation to and from the hotel will be provided for all events. When filling out our online registration form, please indicate whether you plan to participate in these activities.
All optional events are complimentary.
Tuesday, May 13Enjoy a golf outing at nearby Prestonwood Country Club, which boasts 54 holes of championship-caliber golf. Course attire includes slacks/walking shorts, a collared shirt (no jeans or T-shirts, please) and soft spikes only.
Time: Noon – 5 p.m.
Take a tour of Cary Academy, an independent college preparatory day school for grades six through 12. Cary Academy was founded in 1996 by SAS CEO Jim Goodnight and his wife, Ann, with the goal of creating a model school for integrating technology into all facets of education. The tour includes an opportunity to participate in a roundtable discussion with school faculty.
Time: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Attend the official Welcome Dinner at Prestonwood Country Club, hosted by SAS, CoSN and Lenovo. Time: 7 p.m.
Wednesday, May 14Attend our exclusive networking dinner at the Embassy Suites. Time: 5 – 8 p.m.
