Claudia Imhoff, Ph.D.

A thought leader, visionary and practitioner in the rapidly growing fields of business intelligence and customer-focused strategy, Claudia Imhoff, Ph.D., is a popular and dynamic speaker and internationally recognized expert on analytical CRM, business intelligence and the infrastructure to support these initiatives – the Corporate Information Factory (CIF). Dr. Imhoff has co-authored five highly regarded and popular books on these subjects, and writes monthly columns (totaling more than 60) for technical and business magazines. She has served on the board of advisers for DAMA International and was chosen by the DAMA organizations to receive the 1999 Individual Achievement Award. She is an adviser and a faculty member for The Data Warehousing Institute, and serves as an adviser for several technology and commercial companies.
Dr. Imhoff delivers keynote addresses at conferences sponsored by software companies and their user groups, The Data Warehousing Institute, The Economist, COMDEX and many international organizations. She has appeared repeatedly on World Business Review, Microsoft's Getting Results programs and Webcasts sponsored by DM Review, Better Management and several technology vendors. She is a member of the advisory board for the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver and is on several technology companies' advisory councils.
Aiman Zeid
BICC Lead Consultant, SAS
Aiman Zeid is lead developer of the SAS Americas Business Intelligence Competency Center program. He is also a member of a global team responsible for assisting SAS clients in evaluating the use and delivery of information and business intelligence using the SAS Information Evolution Model, and in establishing enterprise Business Intelligence Competency Centers. Zeid has more than 20 years of experience in information delivery, data warehousing, application development, analytics and business intelligence solutions. He has worked with clients in various industries including finance, life sciences, healthcare, public health services, energy and pharmaceutical.
Zeid holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in engineering administration from George Washington University.
Craig Ashby
Business Solutions Partner, Barclaycard Technology Office, Barclays Plc.
Craig Ashby joined Barclays in 1987, undertaking a variety of roles, and culminating in leading and implementing a pioneering digital signature project in 2000. During 2000 – 2003, Ashby enjoyed successful spells developing business initiatives for an e-security company and undertaking a lead role for Northampton Borough Council in developing its strategic response to the UK government's e-government agenda.
Ashby rejoined Barclays in 2003 to lead a number of strategic projects for Barclaycard's Data Management and Analytics team. Most recently, he has led the effort to create the road map for a new strategic MI and analytics service, including the creation of a new competency center support service for the Barclaycard user base, and has enjoyed speaking engagements in Europe and the UK on the topic.
Outside of the working environment, Ashby enjoys a number of sports and lives with his young family in a Georgian market town in the middle of the English countryside.
Georges Prouty
Manager, BI Tools and Platforms, Liberty Mutual
Georges Prouty joined Liberty Mutual in 1994. As the BI Tools and Platforms Manager of Liberty Mutual's Information Management department, Prouty is responsible for a BI center of excellence, which specializes in specific BI, data quality, data modeling, ETL and data warehousing tools and platforms. The center of excellence provides technical support and consulting services to the Liberty Mutual enterprise.
Prior to joining the Information Management department, Prouty was responsible for a Web content management competency center. Prouty also previously held a variety of non-IT positions within the insurance and financial services industries.
Prouty earned a bachelor's degree from Hobart and William Smith College and has earned a Master Certificate from George Washington University School of Business and Public Management in information technology project management.
