Presented by: Javed Inamdar, SAS
As we all know, data set sizes are growing bigger and bigger every day, and the number of time series to forecast are growing exponentially. Forecasts that used to be generated in hours now take days to complete. To overcome this problem, we need to think differently and come up with strategies to produce forecasts faster with existing software. How can you do this with SAS Forecast Server? This demo will show how to make SAS Forecast Server run on grid and produce forecasts much faster than a traditional approach of running forecasting jobs on a single compute server.

Presented by: Flavio Palaci, Deloitte
Banks are facing intense competition in a nearly saturated market. Revenue growth is a challenge, and marketing costs poured into new client acquisition, combined with competition retaliation, often do not bring adequate results or can erode the gains altogether. Established institutions are now shifting their focus toward increasing revenue from existing client portfolios. Nevertheless, the main challenge remains: How to do this successfully in today's complex, multichannel, data-driven world while developing customer relationships and loyalty?
Innovative solutions such as the Deloitte Retail Banking Growth Engine (RBGE) can help. RBGE is a unique modular suite of advanced customer analytics models developed to help retail banks gain deeper insights into their data and address growth challenges throughout clients' entire banking life cycle, including improved individualized service, active relationship development supported by targeted cross- and up-sell of the best suitable products, and by churn prevention of valued customers.
