SAS #2 on the list of best workplaces in Poland
SAS was ranked second on the list of "Best Workplaces in Poland 2013" by the Great Place to Work® Institute. SAS Poland participated in the survey for the second time, moving up from fourth place in 2012 to the second position for 2013. According to the authors of the study, all laureates belong to the elite group of companies that truly respond to the needs of their staff by creating an employee-friendly working environment and a climate of mutual trust.
In the survey, 90 percent of SAS Poland employees reported that SAS Institute is a great place to work for (79 percent is the average among this year's laureates). SAS ranked highest in credibility, fairness (defined as impartiality and giving equal opportunities), and camaraderie.
According to one comment from the employee survey, "The company provides real value to customers, so we often meet with gratitude and we have a sense of a job well done. The atmosphere among the staff is very friendly, people motivate and support each other. It is important that the focus is not only on the results of work, but also on building team spirit through meetings and social events."
In response to the question, "what determines that SAS is a great place to work?" most people indicated:

- Interesting professional challenges and opportunity for development
- Pride in what they do for customers and high-quality offering
- High level of management
- Individual approach to employees
- Good social benefits
Another comment from the employee survey stated that "SAS is a company with a unique atmosphere and principles of work and cooperation. Friendship and trust determine the exceptional atmosphere of work, and high competence and knowledge of most employees provide great opportunities for development. SAS is a place where you are happy to go to every day to learn, develop and pursue your professional passions."

Great Place to Work Institute rankings honor companies that promote credibility, respect, fairness and camaraderie between management and employees. A company's position on the list is determined by two scores: the results of a survey conducted among employees (Trust Index©) and evaluation of corporate culture and HR programs and practices (Culture Audit©). Two-thirds of the points come from employee responses to the questionnaire, which asks about issues such as their attitude towards management, job satisfaction, and camaraderie within the company. The remaining one-third is allocated on the basis of a questionnaire filled out by an employer, which includes a wide range of questions relating to the recruitment system, programs for employee salaries and benefits as well as communication and openness to diversity.
