SAS Poland ranked No. 4 on the best workplaces list
SAS is among the top employers on the Great Place to Work® Institute's "Best Workplaces Poland 2012" list of companies with fewer than 500 employees. This was the first time SAS Poland participated in the annual survey.
The award honors relationships between employees and managers in five dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. Companies are ranked on the basis of two elements: the Trust Index© Survey (two-thirds of the score), which compiles employee responses, and the Culture Audit© (one-third of the total score), completed by management.
Responding to the Trust Index Survey, 90 percent of employees recognized SAS as a great place to work (average score for all companies was 75 percent). Among the top-rated values were management standards, overall atmosphere, the reputation of the SAS brand, commitment, support from colleagues and working conditions.
As to what determines SAS to be a great place to work, most employees pointed out the friendly atmosphere, high level of professional activities, professionalism among colleagues, a sense of common purpose, interesting challenges, personal approach and good workplace environment.
SAS was also certified as one of the Poland’s Top Employers 2012 in an annual listing by the Corporate Research Foundation Institute. All employees celebrated both awards together with a special cake in the shape of the Great Place to Work Institute and Top Employers logos.
