SAS India ranks No. 14 on Great Place to Work list
For three years in a row, SAS India has been ranked on India’s Best Companies to Work For list, coming in this year at No. 14. The company was listed along with other companies that employ up to 1,000 employees.
To help determine the rankings, the Great Place to Work® Institute surveyed employees from 533 participant companies representing more than 20 industries, making it the largest study of its kind in India.
When it comes to being an employer of choice, work-life balance policies set SAS apart, said Srinivas Rao, Director of Human Resources for SAS India.
"The culture at SAS presents a vibrant work environment in which people can thrive and be challenged, while maintaining a healthy work-life balance," Rao said. "This recognition proves that creating a culture of happy, healthy employees drives productivity and allows SAS to focus on continued innovation and customer service."
Besides work-life balance, other factors like culture, employee engagement and business success contribute to making SAS a great workplace, Rao added.
"Employees are free to be themselves at work and we have a flat organizational structure," he said.
SAS India CEO Sudipta K. Sen said SAS is delighted to be ranked for the third time in a row as one of top companies to work for in India.
"We firmly believe that fostering a great working environment is a good business strategy," he said. "Our employees are the lifeblood of our success, and they recognize how important their contribution is for the company's success. We will continue to increase our focus and investment in further strengthening our employee satisfaction."
