Dear Reader,

If you’re like me and you own an iPhone® or iPad®, chances are you recently installed the new iOS 10 operating system. I know they don’t come along too frequently, but I always have the same progression of feelings when I’m about to update to a new version:
• Oh, no!
• Yikes, this looks different.
• I wish they hadn’t changed that.
• Man, this is going to take some getting used to.

But after using the new system for a couple of days, I always come to the same conclusion: “Wow, this so much better. I love it!”

As a reader of this newsletter, you’re likely one of the more than 100,000 SAS users who visit our website looking for information and resources. I’m also guessing many of you have the SAS support website (http://support.sas.com) bookmarked and know it like the back of your hand. If you’ve paid attention, you may have noticed some changes to the site recently.

In late September we launched a beta version of six top-level support pages, which you can access by clicking on a banner on the home page. Before you jump to those initial thoughts of concern I outlined above, I encourage you to check these pages out. They may look different, but they’re part of a continuing evolution we’re making on the site in response to suggestions you’ve made and to better serve your needs. The new support pages focus on key tasks so you can find information more quickly and get help more easily. But you be the judge. For the next couple of weeks we’re asking users to explore the new pages and let us know what they think. (You’ll find a “give feedback” button on every new page just for this purpose.)

I’m confident many of you will come to the same conclusion I did after using my phone’s new operating system: “Wow this is so much better. I love it!”

Thanks for reading,
