The North Carolina 1:1 Learning Technology Initiative

Support options include:

• Adopting a school, ensuring its readiness by engaging with the 1:1 Learning Technology Initiative Steering Committee, and providing funds, technical support and/or equipment (details about how and where to donate will be forthcoming soon).
• Providing funding support to increase the professional development activities of the North Carolina 1:1 Learning Collaborative.
• Reviewing executive summaries and other materials on the Friday Institute Web site.
• Asking executives in your organization to submit editorials to leading news media using the materials provided in the speaker's kit (soon to be developed by the Steering Committee) and the summary documents from the Friday Institute.
• When meeting with legislators and education leaders, making sure they know you support this effort and the continued rollout of additional schools.

Supporters can count on a visible return on their investment by using their funds strategically in support of this statewide initiative. Funders will be invited to join the 1:1 Advisory Board and become active partners by offering guidance and expertise. This project is an effort to engage students in technology-enhanced learning, increase the graduation rate and prepare students to succeed in a global economy.
