Sports Spectacular
Sports Spectacular is a four-month incentive program that rewards participants for being active in sports (free-play and league activities). All SAS employees, their spouses, domestic partners and eligible family members (18 years and older) may participate in this program. Upon completion of the program, participants will receive RFC dollars commensurate with their credits.
Registration and program guidelines
A health check or Medical Evaluation form(PDF), together with a Consent and Release form(PDF), must be on file at the RFC before participating in this program.
Activities included in Sports Spectacular program:
- Free-play activities (at or away from the RFC).
- On-site sports leagues sponsored by the RFC.
- Off-site sports leagues sponsored by the RFC.
- League games/tournament matches at the RFC.
- RFC-sponsored community programs.
- RFC challenge programs.
- RFC special events.
- Participation in sports lessons at the RFC.
Participants may register at any time for this program; however, they must officially begin the program on the first Monday of the month. Once a participant’s registration is received, a log sheet(PDF) will be provided to keep an accurate log of sporting activities.
Activities must be a minimum of 30 minutes in duration. A 30-minute activity equals one credit. If an activity exceeds 30 minutes, it still counts as only one activity. Each activity may count toward only one incentive program.
Once the log sheet is complete, return it to the RFC in Building G on the Cary campus. A maximum of three log sheets are permitted per year. Successful completion of this program rewards participants with RFC dollars.
