Pediatric Primary Care

Periodic well-child visits are recommended starting during the first week of a baby’s birth and then every few months for the first two years. Thereafter, it is recommended that children have a "well-child" visit yearly through adolescence. Each "well-child" visit will be scheduled with the same provider.

Immunizations, developmental assessments and anticipatory guidance are part of these visits. At each visit, parents receive information about their child's growth and development, nutritional needs, age-appropriate safety advice and recommended immunizations.

The health care center offers other services that promote healthy families, including breastfeeding education and consultation, CLNBAS exams, nutritional assessment and education, and parent education on a wide variety of topics.
