Under his leadership and direction Canada and Latin America have received numerous accolades for green leadership and have been recognized as models for positive cultural environments.

Prior to joining SAS Farrell held senior executive positions at Vignette Corporation, Idiom Technology, JD Edwards and JBA Holdings. Farrell joined SAS in 2002, and has delivered consistent and record growth across his regions earning him increased responsibility. Starting as the President of SAS Canada, Farrell doubled the business and helped SAS Canada become the fourth largest subsidiary within SAS. In 2004, he took over Latin America where it has become the fastest growing region within SAS. Farrell was promoted to EVP of the Americas in 2006 where he took on the U.S. sales division, again driving strong revenue growth.
