The SAS Download Manager is a Java-based client that, once installed, can access the SAS software repository in order to download selected SAS orders. The JRE required by the SAS Download Manager is included with the download below and will be installed into a temporary directory. It is not necessary to download the application to the same location you intend to eventually install your SAS software order. If you decide to move the SAS Download Manager to another location once it has been downloaded, ensure that the new location has access to the internet. To install the SAS Download Manager, click on the README link below in the file format of your choice and review the instructions. Click on the Request Download link to download the self-extracting file.

Notes:

The SAS Download Manager will not work with Windows 2000 or Windows XP Home Edition. In order to install software on machines using those operating systems, install and run the SAS Download Manager on a machine using another operating system, then copy the downloaded package to your Windows 2000 or Windows XP Home Edition machine. If you are unable to download to a machine that is not using Windows 2000 or Windows XP Home Edition, please contact SAS Contracts Support at http://support.sas.com/adminservices/contact.html.
If your Windows operating system is Windows Vista or later, you may have to right-click the esdclient.exe and select Run as administrator.
It is very important that you locate your original Software Order E-mail or contact your SAS Installation Representative at your site for the correct order and SAS Installation Key to download the software.
You can NOT use the renewal order number. The renewal order is a license update and it cannot be used to download software.
